The SMF high-speed pulverizer mills thermoplastic material — PVC, PE and similar — into fine powder, and doubles as the in-house machine for reclaiming edge trim and production scrap back into processable powder.

Milling happens in a high-speed whirlpool disc arrangement: material is ground between the discs in an air stream that also carries away the heat, which is what keeps heat-sensitive PVC from degrading during milling. Powder fineness is set by screen and disc adjustment.
