Large-Diameter Wound Drainage Pipe Production Line
Read Count:15 Update Time:2026-10-04 14:54:13
For large-diameter drainage and sewer pipe, winding technology builds the wall from a profiled strip wound onto a mandrel, instead of extruding the full diameter directly.
This keeps the extruder within a practical size range for diameters that would otherwise demand very large throughputs, and lets the wall profile be designed for the stiffness class the application needs. A composite die head forms the profile strip, and the winding and cooling stages fix the pipe geometry before cutting.
The main extruder is a high-efficiency single screw machine, with screw geometry matched to the HDPE grades used for drainage systems.
Tell us the diameter range and ring stiffness class you need to produce, and we will propose the line.
